SPORTHOTEL SEMMERING, BEDROOMS, AUSTRIA
HARMONIOUS DESIGN
Nestled in the historic town of Semmering, Austria, the Sporthotel is a haven of comfort for summer travelers and winter sport enthusiasts.
A complete restyle and refurbishment whilst still trading to encompass the entire space and redevelopment of the brand offering.
Undertaken by TAC and designer Christopher Lees the initial challenge was to design and supply new timber framed beds, chairs and curtains to provide an immediate uplift in perceived quality and associated booking levels for the 2023/2024 winter season.
The beds, chairs, and curtains for the bedrooms were manufactured and installed for the first two floors in under 8 weeks.
Having successfully achieved the desired improvements, the full refurbishment with 35 new bedrooms is being implemented in 2025.
