The wood veneer fabric is made of thin veneer sheets that are glued to a cotton fabric (fleece) with a formaldehyde-free adhesive. Depending on the type of wood and fur-ther processing of the material, the composition is as follows: Wood 28-40%, Adhe-sive 15-22% , Textile 40 -50%.
Dimensions & weight
The thickness of the composite material is approximately 0.5-0.7 mm. The maximum possible length is 2800 mm, the maximum possible width is 1250 mm (gross dimension). The weight is 540 ± 40 g/m2.
Physical properties such as resistance to breakage, elongation or bending depend on the material used to laminate the veneer, while the ageing resistance of the surface depends on the type of top layer applied to the surface. For those sectors that require a higher surface resistance, such as hospitality industry, the veneer is treated with special products to meet the standard.
Colour & texture
As it is a natural product, the colour and texture may vary slightly per production batch/per log and/or per sheet. Small knots, burls and growth-related features are not defects but a sign of the authentic wood surface.
